Coffee Dust Instructions

Coffee Dust was originally crafted to be mixed in with your coffee grounds before brewing.  This way, the flavor truly infuses into your coffee.  Plenty of people have told us that they enjoy adding it straight to their cup of joe instead of brewing it and even adding it on top of ice cream and oatmeal - to each their own!  We encourage you to experiment with Coffee Dust and let us know how you like it!  

Here are the proportions we enjoy for drip, pour-over, french press, and Espresso:

Pre-brew (add to grounds) Direct into mug

Amount to add 1/2 tsp per mug 1/8 tsp per mug



These are great proportions to start with, then adjust to your own taste.

Aeropress: unfortunately Coffee Dust clogs the paper filters - we'd suggest adding directly to your mug instead.

Wanna get crazy?  Add Coffee Dust to all sorts of things! 

Here are some of the things we've tried and love:

  • Ice cream

  • Oatmeal

  • Chicken (as a dry rub - especially Captain's)

  • Tea

  • Milkshakes

  • Popcorn

  • Whipped cream

  • Hot chocolate

  • Foamed milk (with a little vanilla and agave)
