"Rufous Hummingbird, Fisher Pond"

Rufous Hummingbirds are found on Vashon Island during the spring and summer months. During an early spring morning I was photographing around Fisher Pond. Suddenly a Rufous appeared on a budding branch. The sun’s light was behind the bird at an angle which created the perfect silhouette.
