A little about the artist:

As a painter, Rachel Fritz Watson is drawn to color and pattern and finds inspiration in her travels, her family, and life around her. With her oil paintings, she strives to create realistic images with believable space, texture, and detail. Her watercolors have an element of whimsy and design. The images she creates are direct, with a vibrant, playful color palette. She holds a BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She currently lives on Vashon with her husband, kids, dog, and cats.
